Thank You (Mathematics) Teacher

Thank You (Mathematics) Teacher
Make another two cards for my kids' Teacher's Day but still unable to fully utilize the 'one sketch two cards' idea.

Fusion Card Challenge - French Twist
Remarkably, I got these cards inspirations from the same Fusion Card Challenge - French Twist! This time I use both the sketch and photo whereby I follow the color shades from the photo. For the sketch, I rotate it clockwise.

Close-up: Mathematics related backgrounds
As this card is meant for Mathematics teachers, I created two (2) background using numbers on a yellow card stock and calculators on a white card stock. The colors are coordinate back to the photo. Then, these backgrounds are trimmed according to size and attached onto a card base as in sketch. I alternate the background between the cards so that I have two (2) similar cards. As the backgrounds are a bit too bold, I tone it down by layering a piece of vellum on top of the backgrounds.

Close-up: Stamped and die cut sentiment
Two (2) silver mini doily and white circles are die cut. The sentiment is stamped onto the white circle which later attached onto the silver mini doily. The mini doily is then attached onto the card base as in the sketch. The access mini doily is trimmed away accordingly.

The 'teacher' wording is die cut using heavy pink card stock and attach onto the cards base under the mini doily.

The card is finished off by adding some faux stitching to the sentiment half circle.

Dimension : 11.43cm x 8.89cm or 4.5" x 3.5"
Type : Horizontal fold
Inlay : No
