Flower You + Me = Friendship
This is my third card of the day in my card making quest for my Thailand colleagues and this one is for a female colleague who is bringing me the Thailand's snacks.
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge - Sketch #168
For this mini card, I am adopting Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge - Sketch #168 as shown above. However, I clockwise turn the sketch to accommodate the sentiment.
I decided to make my signature 3D flower for this card. I stamp flower image three (3) times and colored them in Copic markers. One of them is die cut using the matching die while the other two (2) are trimmed accordingly to the portion I need.
Close-up: The 3D flower
On a yellow card base which has been layered with plaid pattern paper, a craft mini doily die cut is layered as shown in the sketch. Then, the base of the flower that die cut with matching die is attached onto the craft mini doily die cut. Follow by the second and third layer of the flower with dimensional foam.
Close-up: The sentiment
The sentiment is stamped on a tag in which the header of the tag is being trimmed off before attaching onto the card base as in sketch.
Close-up: Shimmer on the flower
As final touch, I add some shimmer onto the flower to make it all shine and nice! Four (4) white gems are also added below the sentiment.
