Wish Big.....

Wish Big.....
Made this birthday card for my colleague whom I promised earlier. Her birthday is on this Thursday.

Retrosketches #149
I adopt the simple sketch from Retrosketches #149 as shown above as I want to make a quick and simple card.

Close-up: Flower background
First, I stamp the flower repetitively onto a white card stock in pink so that it would be the background or own made pattern paper. Then, I purposely made a tear to the upper left corner as the sketch inspired me to have such idea! Then, the flower background is attached onto a pink card stock.

Close-up: Scalloped square tag
A rounded corners yellow square is stamped with the sentiment and attached with foam tape onto a green scalloped square die cut. At the left corner slit of the green scalloped square die cut, a gold ribbon is tied to it as in the sketch. Then, it is attached onto the pink card base using foam tape as in the sketch.

Dimension : 10.16cm x 15.24cm or 4" x 6"
Type : Vertical fold
Inlay : None

Thanks a Latte for Your Purchase

Thanks a Latte for Your Purchase
Made this card for another of my first time Copic markers buyers who uses Copic markers in her arts.

Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C269
I adopt the simple sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C269 as shown above but rotate it 180 degree to suit my design.

Close-up: The 'table'
I am using some new stamp and dies on this card which I purchased last month such as these My Favorite Things (MFT) LLD Perk Up Stamp Set and My Favorite Things (MFT) LLD Coffee Cup Die-namics. Before assembling the coffee cup, a white strip of white card is stamped with wood grain pattern stamp which is new too as this is the first time this stamp set was use even it was purchased so long ago! Then, it is distressed with inks to create a wooden look. This wood grain strip will be used as the 'table' for the coffee cup in which it is attached onto a red card base that has been matted with a green plain pattern paper.

Close-up: Sentiment
Then, the sentiment is stamped onto the green plain pattern paper as in the sketch.

Close-up: Assembled coffee cup
Before the coffee cup is assembled, another sentiment is stamped onto the blue coffee sleeve. Then, the coffee cup is assemble and attached onto the card base.

Close-up: Gems on the coffee sleeve
The card is finished off with some gems on the coffee sleeve as they are some water drops on the coffee sleeve.

Dimension : 10.16cm x 15.24cm or 4" x 6"
