Happy Thanksgiving!

Set of four Thanksgiving stationeries
In conjunction to this festive season, I made a set of thanksgiving stationeries as above using Hero Arts Digital Thanksgiving Table Decoration. It is fun as this is my first time made a set of stationeries using the same designs. This is my first time to use digital and doing hybrid.

1) Tag or Bookmark
I made a tag or bookmark as I think it would be great to pass to children and kids who is studying.

4) Foods Topper
This is the special item I made. It is a foods topper especially for the turkey or any meat dishes. Imagining this topper on the foods. Wouldn't be a very good feel of thanksgiving? :)

Hero Arts Christmas Stamp Set (and others) Has Arrived!

Hero Arts CL266 Mix & Match Elements
Imaginisce To Love & Cherish Collection Item 002200 Frame
Imaginisce Scooter's Vacation Collection Item 001929 Suitcase
Hero Arts
CL461 Wishes Come True
I been eying to buy the some of the Hero Arts Jingle All The Way Holiday 2010 Catalog stamp set for a while when it is first launch especially on Hero Arts CL461 Wishes Come True. But due to limited budget, I did not proceed but been asking Debbie if she will include them in her pre-order since there is none in her store as well as planning for the budget. Debbie added the catalog collection on 19 August 2010 which can be pre-ordered under batch #7 but I did not order due to budget restraint.

Right : Hero Arts
CL461 Wishes Come True
However, it is a good thing that I ordered later as later, Debbie is so generous that she give out a 15% discount for all items in conjunction to Hari Malaysia which is on 16 September 2010 and the discount is valid till 24 September 2010. It is a countable saving and I know I really need to get those stamp sets I been putting on my wish list. I made my budget and finally I ordered on the last day before the promotion end for Hero Arts CL461 Wishes Come True and CL266 Mix & Match Elements and VC0022-2 Studio G Series 42 Clear Stamps - A Mother Is The Heart Of The Home (which delivered earlier to me as requested - refer to this post). Eventually, Debbie extended the promotion discount to 30 September 2010 - so generous of her!

Right : Imaginisce Scooter's Vacation Collection Item 001929 Suitcase
You know what?! Debbie really so generous that she made another promotion discount sale after that. It is a one (1) day special sale valid on 20 October 2010 only with 20% discount for all items again! I really cannot resist even my budget is so telling me not too. Thus, I opt for something cheaper and affordable like Imaginisce Scooter's Vacation Collection Item 001929 Suitcase and To Love and Cherish Collection Item 002200 Frame. Phew~ I requested Debbie to deliver these two (2) stamps with the pre-order so that I can save some postage charges.

Well, things are not going so smooth with this pre-order batch #8 as the shipment was delay at USPS for almost two (2) weeks and then only shipped to Malaysia. Due to that, I and other buyers have to wait for our items a bit longer and it really killing me when I wanted the stamp to enter Hero Arts November Challenge - Gift Tags or Handmade Gifts. Not to mention I need to prepare a well numbers of mini cards for Christmas which the ideas has been lingered in my mind for a while now. I need to start early as it is a number of cards I need to make and also because of my speed of making cards. :P

Finally, the items arrived to Debbie on 16 November 2010 where she announced on her blog as well as e-mailed to us. I am so excited to see my stamp sets on her blog. I e-mailed her after that I recently moved and gave her the new address for deliver. What a bad luck for me as on 18 November 2010, Debbie e-mailed me that she ran out of Pos Ekspres and will deliver my items on 19 November 2010! Thus, I have to wait a day longer.....:(

No matter what is the consequences my stamp sets and I suffered, we are together now! I really cannot wait to use them in my next projects. Yay!

Thank You Tag

Thank You tag
This is the first project ever since I moved on the 29 October 2010. Most of the things has been organized and be at its proper place including my own craft space. Thus, I made this tag as a start to my craft momentum.

Close-up : Background stamping
An orange cardstock is trimmed rectangular and rounded at four (4) corners. Floral lookalike design from Hero Arts CL169 Happy Day Floral are stamped repeatedly on the orange cardstock using baby blue ink.

Close-up : Masked message bubble
The message bubble from Hero Arts CG151 Happy Birthday Cupcakes is stamped on a blue cardstock. The birthday message is being masked off as only the bubble design is required. The bubble is then trimmed and some shimmering ink is used to highlights the dots.

Close-up : 'Thank You' message
'Thank You' from Hero Arts CL308 Arigato is used to stamp on the the bubble message. Ladybug from Hero Arts CL413 Bugs and Kisses is stamped below the 'Thank You' message and re-stamp on a white cardstock. The ladybug from the white cardstock is colored with red marker for its back. Some shimmering ink is added to the black dots as highlights. Then, it is trimmed and attached onto the blue bubble with pop dots.
Close-up : Ladybug

Close-up : Yellow gems horizontally
The blue bubble is finalized with a punched hole and silver ribbon tied to it. The whole tag is then attached onto a soft textured green cardstock with rounded corners which layered onto the orange cardstock. Three (3) yellow gems are added to the right upper corner of the tag horizontally. Another three (3) yellow gems are added to the left lower corner of the tag vertically.
Close-up : Yellow gems vertically

The whole tag can be used as bookmark as well.

Bo Bunny Learning Curve Items Arrived!

I was waiting for my husband with my four (4) years old daughter at the lift lobby when my daughter pulled out a big envelope from the mailbox. I was a little surprise as I did not expect any parcel today. The reasons being are that there is no news on the stamp sets I bought and I checked the consignment number few days ago for the a2z winning and the tracking said that it is still in transition to Malaysia. Thus, I am really surprised and happy to get the parcel.

Actually, I e-mailed Linda on the 02 November 2010 when I did not receive anything after a month of winning from a2z Scrapbooking Supplies. Linda replied that there is some issues with the address I gave her earlier and was returned back to her. I e-mailed my new address to her as I moved on the 29 November 2010. Well, that is another reason why I e-mailed Linda to check on the shipping status of the prize as I afraid the parcel is missing during transition as I moved.

Anyhow, finally my winning prizes are here which includes :
1) One (1) Bo Bunny Learning Curve Project Kit (Item #CKLC768)
2) One (1) Bo Bunny School is Cool cardstock stickers (Item #10SC178)
3) One (1) Bo Bunny Learning Curve iCandy Dimensionals 3D cardstock stickers (Item #LCS379)
4) One (1) Bo Bunny Learning Curve Clearly Stamps (Item #SL676)
5) One (1) Bo Bunny Denim Wraps (Item #WRDW928)
Items I won from a2z Scrapbooking Supplies

Linda is so nice that she included a hand-made card for me to congratulate me on winning the items.
