Birdie All The Best!

Made this mini card for a colleague who is leaving tomorrow. I made a 3"x3" mini card because I am going to insert the card into a transparent gift pouch together with the farewell gift.

I adopt the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches #240 with twist 3 B's as shown above.

Close-up : The bird and speech bubble

A bird (that is one B's) is stamped on a white card stock and colored using Copic markers. It is distressed with ink to tone down the whiteness as well to mimic the sky. Then a speech bubble is stamped on a white card stock with the sentiment. It is trimmed and distressed as well. The bird is attached onto a butterfly (That is another B's but afraid it cannot be seen well. So I have some extra.) pattern paper follow by the speech bubble using pop dots.

Close-up : Black ribbon, button and bow

A black ribbon (that is another B's) is tied to the botton of the butterfly pattern paper. An button (that is another B's) with yellow twine as bow (another B's) is attached onto the black ribbon as shown in the sketch. It is later attached onto a yellow card base using pop dots.
