Just Me, Thinking of You with Stamped Colorful Patterns

Just Me, Thinking of You with Stamped Colorful Patterns
Made this card for my best friend who is also my daughter's godmother. I wrote her a letter (yes, I am still keeping this old method as both of us used to write to each other when we were in our younger days) few days ago to express some parenting issues that been bothering me. Although she is not yet married or have any kids (except my daughter as her goddaughter), I find that her parenting skills are much better than mine. Perhaps, she have a younger sister who she took care since toddler.

Freshly Made Sketches #199 - A Sketch by Karren
Back to the card. For this card, I choose to play with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #199 - A Sketch by Karren as shown above. I also play with CAS-ual Fridays CFC142 - Pretty Patterns which prompt me to stamp my own background.

Close-up: Colorful patterns
On a white card stock, the image is stamped repeatedly using four (4) different colors. It is later attached onto a yellow card base and the excess is trimmed down. As in sketch, a red diamond washi tape is added to the bottom of the yellow card base.

Close-up: The sentiment banner
The sentiment is stamped on a light blue watermark look alike paper. The left edge is fish tailed as shown in the sketch. A black faux stitching border is added to the fish tail banner.

The card is finished by adding some yellow gems to the below 'You' sentiment.

Dimension : 10.16cm x 15.24cm or 4" x 6"

Super cute card! Love the circles and lattice print mixed! And I think it's so neat that you're communicating with real letters, that will always be special to have. Thanks for playing along with us at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
