This is the third thank you card I made for my daughter's teacher and wow, I made three (3) cards in an afternoon! It a record! But mainly due to urgency and time constraints! Hahahaha.....

Fusion Card Challenge - Embossed Ombre

For this card, I decided to adopt both the sketch and inspiration photo from Fusion Card Challenge - Embossed Ombre as shown above. I was inspired by emboss on the cake but decided to ditch away ombre as I am not good at it. Again, I rotate the sketch clockwise.

Close-up: Embossed vellum

As inspired by the emboss on the cake, I decided to use vellum for wet embossing. The pattern is punched onto a strip of vellum and emboss. I like the outcome as the vellum embossing wet look is almost same in the cake. It is then attached onto a green strip which then attached onto the white card base.

Close-up: Sentiment

On another bluish strip, the sentiment is stamped and attached onto the card base as in sketch.

Close-up: 3D rose on a doily

I decided to make my signature 3D rose again. On a white card stock, three (3) roses are stamped and colored using Copic markers. Then, the colored roses are trimmed. Three (3) roses are layered upon each to create some dimension using pop dots. Before attaching the rose onto the card base, I attach a yellow mini doily die cut near the sentiment strip as in the sketch. After that, the 3D rose is attach onto the yellow mini doily.
