While I am considering, I received their newsletter on the 03 May 2012 that they are having "National Scrapbooking Day Sale" from 03 May 2012 till 07 May 2012 with 20% discount storewide. I quickly navigate to their store and put two (2) of my wishlist stamps into the cart. I try to checkout and use the coupon code. It is indeed further 20% discount applied to the pre-discount price! I am so happy that I have some further savings!
Still, I am afraid on the high shipping charges. Thus, on 04 May 2012, I contact
Emma's Paperie using the "
Contact Us" form. I ask if I do not agree to the shipping charges they quote, can I cancel the order. The next day, Cindy from
Emma's Paperie replied that I can do so if I think that the shipping charges is too high. She explains that they do not charge credit cards until the buyer approved shipping or if using
PayPal, buyer do not click the "Continue" after click on "Place Order".
Upon getting that reply, I place my order accordingly. They send me a order confirmation and inform that they will finalize the order by contacting us back once the order is weighed. I waited patiently until 10 May 2012 Malaysia time and yet no reply from them. Thus, I wrote to them to ask if they have my order processed. Later in the day, I received their reply thru
PayPal requesting for payment. In the request e-mail, they have stated how much is the shipping charges and explain that they are busy on the sale week which delayed the e-mail reply. The shipping charge is a bit high compare to the shipping charges charged by
Custom Crops but I think it is standard as
Simon Says Stamp eBay store also charge almost the same amount.
I made my payment accordingly on the same day. Few minutes after I made the payment, I received
Emma's Paperie shipping notification that my order has been shipped! That is fast! I hope that it will arrive fast as well.

Nicely wrapped with ribbon |
The package finally arrived today! When I open the package, I was surprised on how
Emma's Paperie use personal touch as their marketing strategy as both of the stamp sets I bought are nicely wrapped with a light green tracing paper complete with ribbon! It looks like a present and it feel so personal. Other than that, they also give me a free gift which is
Daisy D's Chloe Marie Journaling Cardstock Stickers. I seldom use stickers on my card or do scrapbook a lot but nothing bets a free gift.
I am so happy that I have complete the 'bee companion sets'! I love those houses in the stamps so much that I have some ideas how to use them as well as the sentiments! I am thinking some modification to the sentiments! ;P
