Birdie Wedding Wishes

Birdie Wedding Wishes
This card is specially made for my brother and his wife who are registering their marriage today. I did not join their registration of marriage (ROM) today as it would be troublesome for me as I have a new baby to take care.

Sketch Saturday Week #189
This card layout is inspirational from Sketch Saturday Week #189 sketch/challenge as shown above.

Close-up : Chinese and Western pattern strips
As my brother is Christian while her wife is Buddha, I have combine both Western and Chinese wedding wishes into this card. A Chinese wedding wishes pattern paper from Moof is trimmed horizontally. Then, an Western wedding wishes pattern paper from Moof is trimmed vertically. Both strips are then attached onto a red cardstock.

Close-up : Male bird
Finally, I get to ink my new stamp of Hero Arts CG155 Hugs and Kisses Birds which I purchase recently! Both birds are stamped on different pattern papers and trimmed accordingly. Another set of birds are stamped on the yellow pattern rounded square and paper pieced on them. I added two (2) blue heart shaped gems on the male bird tail while for the female bird, I added a gold heart shaped gem on her head. The finished layout is then attached onto the pattern strips as shown in the sketch.
Close-up : Female bird

Close-up : Gems on the right upper corner of the card
On the right upper corner, I added two (2) blue heart shaped gems vertically and a gold heart shaped gem horizontally.

Close-up : Sentiment "Congratulations" on the Western  wedding wishes
The word "Congratulations" on the right bottom corner of the Western wedding wishes strip is just nice for the sentiment as shown in he sketch.

Dimension : 12.7cm x 19.05cm or 5" x 7.5"
Type : Horizontal fold
Inlay : None
