Flower in the Mason Jar Mug Hello

Flower in the Mason Jar Mug Hello
I am continuing to make these postcard-style cards for my colleagues as I need at least 20 of them which was nice as a relaxing exercise during my leave.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #633
For these next cards, I am adopting the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches #633 as shown above. As always, I made two (2) cards from the same sketch to save time and produce more cards.

Flower in the Mason Jar Mug Hello - Red
Two (2) lace border rectangles are die-cut from orange and red cardstock and I am trying to have these postcard-style cards in the same base of lace border rectangles. I am also trying to match the second layer as the same by having two (2) white cross-stitched rectangles.

Close-up: Shimmering flower in purple
The flower in the Mason jar mug image is stamped on the white cross-stitched panel as in the sketch and colored using Copic markers.

Close-up: Shimmering 'hello' word in red
The word 'hello' is die-cut from white, orange, and red cardstock. The white die-cut will be stacked-up twice and finished off with the orange and red die-cut. This is following Jennifer McGuire's style of creating dimension which is also good in using up those scraps.

Flower in the Mason Jar Mug Hello - Orange
The white cross-stitched panel is attached to the lace border base according to the flower color. Unfortunately, the purple cardstock is not available and thus, it is attached to the red panel instead. Then the 'hello' word die-cut is attached to the white panel according to the base panel color as shown in the sketch.

The card is finished by adding some glitter onto the main flower focal, water, and the word 'hello' to make them sparkle and shine.
