Present + Cupcake = Happy Birthday

Made this birthday card for my uncle (father's side) whose birthday is on next Thursday.

I adopt the sketch from Sunday Stamps Challenge - SSC56 - It's a Sketch as shown above. The images and colors are inspired from Cupcake Inspirations - Challenge 223 - Birthday as shown below.

Close-up : The present

The present and cupcakes are stamped onto two (2) different white circles. Then, they are colored with Copic markers. The edges of the circle is distressed to tone down the white.

Close-up : Sentiment in the cupcake topper

For the middle circle as shown the in sketch, I decided to make something different. Thus, I stamp the sentiment onto a blue card stock and attached it onto a toothpick to make a cupcake topper. It is fishtailed at the other end.

On a blue patterned card stock, a yellow ribbon is attached vertically to the left as shown in the sketch. Then, an orange ribbon with yellow ruffles is attached at the bottom horizontally as shown in the sketch. 

Close-up : Quicklet

Three (3) blue quicklet are attached to the top right of the card. The card is then attached onto an orange card base.

The card is finished off with a blue gem added to the present's flower and a dark gold heart pearl to the cupcake's topping.
